I made all this like... ages ago really, but it would appear that a complete patch for the game has still not been made. Even though hacking this game is silly easy and whatnot, i didnt have a translator to finish it at the time i worked on it and now i just lack interest anymore.

no idea how many separate projects there are but atleast one i found didnt have the menu stuff done, evnen though it seems to progress pretty nicely aside that.

Figured i'll just dump this shit here for anyone to use since i have no use for it anymore.

here's how you edit the menu mappings:

the mapping is simple:
there's a name of segment, and coordinates.
the filenames always come in pairs; there is "menu_basic02.png" and "menu_basic02_log.txt"
png is the image, and log is the coordinate file.

you read the coordinates as follows:
[filename] [segment X location] [Segment Y location] [segment width] [segment height]

first row: basic_sp_sentaku01.png 0 0 43 11
means that this segment is located at 0,0 (topleft of the file) and is sized 43x11 pixels.
